Au revoir, net neutrality

This was not good news to wake up to:

The Federal Communications Commission announced on Tuesday that it planned to dismantle landmark regulations that ensure equal access to the internet, clearing the way for companies to charge more and block access to some websites.

It’s a very scary precedent. I hope that the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) or American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) files suit, but I would imagine that would be tricky until a private company actually attempts to use this. These are scary times.
