New Atheist Charlatans: Part III

I’m currently in the process of moving, so I won’t be blogging regularly. I have prewritten a series of posts critiquing the so-called “New Atheist” movement. I was originally going to submit these as a full article on Miguk Minute, but I decided to release them here instead. I’ll be back with regular blogging in two weeks or so. Enjoy!

Christopher Hitchens is the only posthumous member of this list. Some of Hitchens’ writing is brilliant, such as his 1995 book The Missionary Position in which he critiqued Mother Teresa.  Unfortunately, he was also a violent alcoholic, and a public misogynist. He strongly supported the war in Iraq, and he even wanted the United States to go to war in Iran. At one point, he lamented that the death toll in Iraq was not high enough.
