New Atheist Charlatans: Part IIII

I’m currently in the process of moving, so I won’t be blogging regularly. I have prewritten a series of posts critiquing the so-called “New Atheist” movement. I was originally going to submit these as a full article on Miguk Minute, but I decided to release them here instead. I’ll be back with regular blogging in two weeks or so. Enjoy!

I give Ayaan Hirsi Ali a bit of credit, as she was born in Somalia and raised as a Muslim; even if I disagree with her views on Islam, they are informed by personal experience. I would never seek to invalidate her experiences, but due to her body of work, she has been labeled an “extremist” by the Southern Poverty Law Center. She also worked with far-right, white nationalist Geert Wilders on anti-immigration policy in the Netherlands. She is a frequent Fox News guest. She once claimed, “If you look at 70% of the violence in the world today, Muslims are responsible,” a charge that has been thoroughly debunked.
