Across my Apple devices, I use the default Calendar app. There are various reasons for this, but the primary ones are that it suits my needs sufficiently, is easy enough to be used with iOS-using loved ones, and it works well across my various devices. However, I have one small beef: the Calendar app on macOS does not allow for easy emoji use.
While people might think it’s strange to use emojis in anything other than Messages, Mail, or Safari, it’s actually very useful to be able to add small visual cues to my calendar items. However, neither the Command – Control – Spacebar shortcut does not trigger the emoji menu nor does using the Touch Bar. It seems to be a weird omission on the part of Apple.
This isn’t the biggest bug fix, but it’s one that I’m hoping for in macOS Mojave.
