Where’s the dongle?

In a few years, virtually all devices will use USB-C. It’s better in almost every way, and I totally support tech companies in making the switch. That being said, it would be nice if these companies included at least one or two USB-C adaptor dongles in the meantime to help customers make the shift.

I’ve touched on this before:

People have had issues with the butterfly keyboard, critics have labeled the Touch Bar as gimmicky, and power users have bemoaned the lack of drives that aren’t USB-C. Here’s an alternative take: I bought a MacBook Pro 15″ with Touch Bar in January 2017 and I love it.

It’s not the use of dongles, but rather the lack of consideration for users transitioning to USB-C that bothers me.
